This is very hard swiss cheese indeed. The model was not created in the usual bottom up approach. Notice that the cheese base rests on a series of stacked sloped elements. This enabled the model to take on a triangular shape. We call this technique the ‘Compass’ technique, which encourages builders to seek different perspectives by viewing bricks from different directions and angles. Using bricks with holes in them combined with yellow arch elements added realism to the swiss cheese model. Also notice that by building upside down, the tubular underside of the bricks are exposed further adding the appearance of holes.
